Optimizing web experiences
through user-centered design
I'm Kirsten, a UI/UX Designer in Austin, TX
A Bit About Me
I specialize in designing and developing digital products. I’ve worked with small-to-medium sized businesses on projects for eCommerce, enterprise software, and websites. User experience and problem-solving are central to everything I do. I build prototypes that help communicate interfaces and flows to the user.
My latest project was with rateGenius here in Austin, TX. They connect people, products, and technology to find consumers the best auto loan rate.
I was brought in as the UI/UX Designer in 2015 to help redesign an 18-year-old loan origination platform. Together, a team of business users, analysts, developers and QA engineers created an innovative workflow. The new, user-friendly design helps employees perform their tasks more accurately and faster to reach their goals.

My Process
What do you need? What are your goals? What are your challenges?
Good design takes contraints and requirements into consideration.
I can either brainstorm ideas using whiteboad and wireframes or design in the browser.
